About Rengstorff AI

We build websites, mobile apps and online stores for merchants: restaurants, shops, clinics, studios and other small and growing businesses. We use AI throughout our development process, which lets us deliver professional software in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost of a traditional agency. We also help businesses in the US and abroad register and protect their trademarks and patents.

Why we exist

For most small businesses, a custom app or a properly built online store has been out of reach. Agency projects take months, cost more than many merchants can justify, and require learning a lot of technical vocabulary just to get started. The result is that many businesses settle for generic templates or go without.

AI has changed the economics of building software. Much of the design, coding and testing that used to take weeks of manual work can now be done in days. We started Rengstorff AI to pass those savings on to the businesses that benefit most from them.

How we work

AI handles much of the production work: generating designs, writing code and running tests. People handle the parts that need judgement: understanding your business, deciding what to build, reviewing every release and making sure the result meets a professional standard. You talk to us in plain language, and you see a working preview early rather than a stack of specification documents.

Our business model

We aim to be simple to buy from and easy to keep working with.

• Fixed-price projects. After an initial conversation, we send a clear scope, timeline and fixed price. You know the cost before any work starts, and it doesn't grow with hours spent.
• Lower prices because of lower effort. We don't charge less by cutting corners. Our prices are lower because AI reduces the manual hours each project needs, and we price on that reduced effort.
• Optional support after launch. Once your site or app is live, we offer ongoing support and updates. Because changes are AI-assisted too, they're quick and affordable, so you're not locked into expensive maintenance.
• You own everything. Your domain, content and app store listings are set up in your business's name. We don't hold your software hostage, and you're free to take it elsewhere.

Third-party running costs, such as app store developer accounts, domain registration, hosting and payment processing fees, are paid by your business directly to those providers. We explain what to expect in every quote, so there are no surprises.
